All of our feeders have cell cams. So they send the pictures directly to our phones. We sit on the ranch and wait till we get a photo then go and spot & stalk in. This way we are covering the whole ranch instead of just putting you at one spot.

This tactic greatly increases your chances of killing hogs!

But if Spot & stalk isn’t for you we can put you sitting in a blind hunting

( If requested the guide can shoot as well to ensure a kill! )

  • Lodging/meals not included - Best Western Plus hotel here in town gives all my clients a discount of $100/night for a room with 2 beds

You don't need to bring anything because we supply it all! Just bring yourself and dress according to the weather.

  • What Should You Expect on Your Hog Hunt?

We will meet in town (Graham, Texas) everyone will fill out liability waiver and take care of balance due. From there you follow the guide to the ranch. I have 6 different ranches in 2 counties so the drive can be anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes.

Once you arrive at the ranch you will jump in the guides truck and go to the center of the ranch. All my feeders have high tech cell cams on them so they send the pictures directly to our phones as soon as they take them.

So you wait to get pictures of hogs somewhere on the ranch, doing it this way allows us to cover the entire ranch at once instead of one spot at a time!

Once a picture is received the guide will drive to that end of the ranch, get out and set up the guns & scopes. He will spot & stalk you into the pigs. Most times you get 50-80 yards from them!

Once everyone is set up the guide will do a 1,2,3 count down. Once you hear 3 start shooting and knocking em’ down!

Now if the spot and stalk hunting isn’t for you we have blind/feeder set ups we can get you in!

If your group is 4 or more people you will be split up with 2 different guides, simply because that many people at one spot is asking to get busted! Or some will sit at a location while the others go with the guide. We will do what ever is best fit to insure opportunities!

  • What Should You Wear on a Hog Hunt?

Camo apparel if you have it, but it isn’t a must. Any dark colors will work, green, tan, brown, black. Try and prevent wearing any fabric that is loud such as abrasive or starched clothing. And Boots are highly recommended, with our Texas cactus, thorn trees and many others, you will want your feet protected.

  • Is a Hunting License Required to Hunt Hogs in Texas?

Texas being the great state that it is does not require a license to shoot hogs!

  • How Does Game Processing & Taxidermy Work?

Here at Texas Thermal Outfitters skinning & quartering is included in your package, we will take what ever you meat you want off the pigs and put them in your coolers.

Or there is a processing place right here in town, but they only process September/January.

As far as taxidermy we can do Euro skull mounts and ship them to you, but if you would like a shoulder mount the processing place can do the mount and ship it to you as well!

  • What Gear is Provided for Hog Hunting?

You are provided thermals, ar’s, ammo, & shooting sticks.

The thermals are all AGM Rattler V2’s. They record all the shots and the videos will be sent to you at the end of the hunt.

The Ar’s are a mix between radical & bear creek 762x39’s will 20 round mags.

Ammo provided is 123 grain hollow points, with good shot placement this ammo put a whipping on them!

I provide Bog Pod death grips for shooting sticks. If you haven’t heard of them, they are a tripod that vices the gun in. All you have to do is pull the trigger the tripod will hold the gun steady!
